Collect seashells
Pick up some seashells when walking on the beach, and be by the calming sea as much as possible. The fresh air and the sound of waves will give you energy and balance.
Make iced coffee from scratch
Homemade iced coffee is a must when it comes to July. Try out my simple French Press Iced Coffee recipe, mix your own Moroccan spiced coffee mocktail, or whip up your own iced mint latte with homemade mint simple syrup.

Dry herbs for herbal teas
Prep for your winter days, the joys of summer, and dry your herbs for the winter. Simple herbal teas will bring you joy later, and you can get the benefits of mint tea or other herbs later, too!

Forage blueberries
Berry hunting is the best outdoor activity in July. Pick up blueberries to make a delicious blueberry pie or mix some wild blueberry hibiscus iced tea!
Walk barefoot
Calming nerves, connecting to nature, or just for fun – walking barefoot is THE joy of summer time. A gentle massage of the sandy beach or the grass is something that matters right now.

Make wildflower bouquets
Flowers are abundant in July. Play with different options to make some beautiful natural bouquets. Match the same colors to create a harmonious bouquet, or create a calming bouquet with the flowers of the same size or same pattern. Get inspiration from the flower shops and remember to use some deep colored leaves too to make a stunning, natural flower arrangement.

Sleep outside
If you have a tent, this is the time to use it. Pack your backpack and toss the tent and sleeping sack on a bicycle and camp a night or two in a forest nearby or a camping area. We use a handy bicycle wagon for our daughter and pack all our things in the same wagon to make it effortless. Remember to take some natural mosquito repellent with you if you have the mosquito season on!
