Invite in the calm and cozy
Invite in the calm and cozy with a blanket and a good book. Whether it is a novel, a detective story, or a biography, pick your favourite. I myself have started to gaze at the summertime and am amused by different herb and tea books.
Warm up with homemade beverages
Wintery spices are the thing when it is still cold outside, and you want some flavour. Chai spices are perfect to accompany any tea or coffee. If you want to have a perfect bedtime sip, try our Rooibos Chai Latte to enjoy a caffeine-free Chai latte.

Ground yourself with writing
If you are not a journaler (I have my moments, too), try writing down things with a pen or, even better, a quill to romanticize the moment.
We are so hooked with all the electronic devices and handy ways to make notes on our phone that pausing with our thoughts is sometimes very needed. Ground yourself with writing, even if it is only a shopping list.
If you want to upgrade this bucket list task, you can use black tea or coffee to dye a simple paper to get the old-time vibe.
Spend time outside stargazing
February is still a time with deep darkness, though we have started to approach spring and summer. Take a walk to an open space in the forest or next to a field to enjoy the simple twinkling stars.
The sparkling light lights up hope and gives an unexpected joy when gazing from the pitch-dark ground.

Enjoy the wintertime
You know. Soon it is Midsummer again, and there is no ice, so seize the moment, snag your skates, and go ice skating.
If you don’t have cold enough to skate on natural ice, find your closest ice rink. Pack some dark hot chocolate in a thermos to make the moment more delicious.
Make preparations for the time coming
Do the things your future self will thank you for and start planning your herb garden. When spring comes it comes rushing in and if you want to start growing the seedlings it is a perfect time to start thinking about what you would like to grow in your garden this year.

Shake off dusty routines
After the new year’s big dreamy moods start to vanish, shake off your dusty routines and try something different. Choose something in your shopping list that you would normally buy and try to make it yourself. Have you tried making almond butter from scratch yet? Or homemade cream cheese?
Soon you’ll see that you have your own kitchen staples and you need less and less processed foods filled with colorants and additives.
